Tom, Barbara, Jerry and Margo return in the last four episodes of the final series. The Weaver’s Tale (1 May 1977): Barbara isn’t happy when Tom spends all their money on a second-hand loom, and Jerry bravely decides to rein in Margo’s spending - just after she’s been shopping. Suit Yourself (8 May 1977): Tom and Barbara are making a suit for Tom using sheeps’ wool and dye from stinging nettles, while Margo and Jerry are invited to a dinner where ‘Sir’ announces his retirement. But who will take over the company? Sweet and Sour Charity (15 May 1977): Margo is outraged that the Music Society has chosen Sweet Charity for its next production. Meanwhile, Tom and Barbara plan to siphon off the oil from their neighbour’s tank... Anniversary (22 May 1977): Here's to the good life! In the last programme it’s Tom’s birthday and the second anniversary since he and Barbara went self-sufficient. However, they have the only oil slick in Surbiton and receive a major shock after hearing Jerry’s good news.
